The Old Mailfriends back (-:

There are so many of us who want the old mailfriends back, and others who want to try something new or don't like to complain. Maybe we can please everyone.

If making a new version was mainly about the coding, and about re-coding the site in a way that allowed more options and was easier to control (because the new owners didn't like improving the original code). Then why can't they just do all the new coding (behind the scenes) but make the interface still look like the old one?

The screens that we see must be easy to change, so that it can look more like the old familiar mailfriends to us, and they could keep the new code: just that we wouldn't see it. they could make the side bar more like the one we are used to: with the channels list as before, with a home page button, and the searches, and hot user list, we could have the friends online listed at the top again, our name at the top so we could easily get to our profiles. We could get a flashing notification at the top again for new pms.. Why not all these things? Why can't we have a design that is designed for what we want, instead of what the owner wants or how we can see the most ads. (cont..)

We don't want communities, we don't want myspace, we want the old mailfriends site we are familiar with.
