Amelie and Taxi! Delicatessen does seem Belgian to me, it ends in an -n, no? But I haven't seen that one.

The only French movie I have seen is Amelie, so I say that movie is the best!

I like some French movies just dont know the titles .... but they are very enjoyable and meaningful... a bit heavy (though) for those who just want entertainment.

J'adore Jeunet et tous ses films puis un ancien pote Bruno Delbonel(l'excellent directeur de photo de Jean-Pierre Jeunet)-- (si toutefois,il se souvient de moi!)

I don't know about best French movies ever made but I enjoyed the comedies, Le Dinner de Cons, Tanguy, and Toto le héros. Jean de Florette and Manon des Sources with Gerard Depardieu were good and I liked 'En plein coeur' with Virginie Ledoyen. Catherine Breillat's 'À ma soeur!' was interesting.

Besides the already mentioned Taxi and Gendarmes series, I loved "the adventures of rabbi Jacob".

Il n'y a pas longtemps j'ai vu "La vie privee des miniscules". C'est une serie des petits films. A mon avie c'est tres original et interessant.
" je vais bien en t'en fais pas"
