well it seems they think it's all just a psychological thing. they're thinking of bringing in a sports psychologist to analyse each player lol. but 72 is a horrible score for any test playing nation, but in particular pakistan, who are actually quite good.

i read an article at baggygreen.com where imran khan goes way back to the teaching of batting in the younger grades. he says that the pakistanis are being taught to play against 'fair' bowlers but when it comes to an allstar attack like ours, they just crumble under the pressure. he says they need to restructure and reshape the whole junior education of cricket in pakistan.

That may well be a very valid point. We are noticing here in Australia that alot of younger people are
turning to football ( soccer ) as opposed to our national game of Australian Rules football.
