Hello I just wrote to traditions and festivals topic, and I can say again: about Miskolc ) Of course, what else from? If you don't mind. Miskolc is the capital of music, as we use to call it, because there are almost always concerts, opera festival, and such things. Miskolc is strong in theater and rock-music life, so here are the rock, and the opera/symphonical musics/choruses are dominant. Many of famous Hungarian rock band started here, but later they moved to Budapest, because there are more chances, but they always come back, and give huge and unbelievably concerts to us. Sometimes here are every concert is free, or at the university campus, there are about 50 bands, for a few days, and if you check the prises, it is almost free We had an amazing birthday party there with Edda. They were 30 years old in 2004.

of course, in Budapest, there are concerts always, and there are Sziget Fesztivál, when on an Island in the Danube river, there are a lot of concerts. I forgot to tell you, that in Miskolc, here will open a Rock Museum, in a real rock in the mountain Bükk, but in the city-outskirt, so there are other houses, palace hotel, lake, brooks, waterfalls, etc You'll see it

I like hungarian rock bands, such us Kispál és a borz, Tankcsapda, or Alvin és a mókusok. Unfortunatly I thint they aren't very famous abrod, but I like like listening to those bands very-very much. I think hungarian pop music isn't very good, or I don't like it too much.

Nowadays I listen the singers ,who play (?) in a Tv-show, called Megasztar. (It's like the pop idols show in U.K.)
They're great. (Of course not the all Megasztar 2 - group. But everybody can find there the favourite.
Ma fave. Megasztar- singers are Daniel Torres and Tomas Pál.
I like hungarian pop music too. Fekete Virág wrote it isn't very good, but I don't agree with her. (Bocs virág! ) She wrote those bands (Kispál és a Borz, etc.) ...well, I thuth is that I don't like them. But it's my opinion only.
But I can't tell you who is my favourite group in Hungary...I prefer the singers.
femaleelif | 18 March 2005 - 4:00pm

Okey v_mara, I agree with you in some things. I like the T-show Megasztár, because I think with this show Hungary gets some talented singers who can sing. And it may be some good singers in Hungary, but I think there are a lot of groups and singers who can't sing... and their concerts are just "play back". That's my opinion.
maleszgabesz | 19 March 2005 - 11:19pm
go to a metal concert then that is not playback, because they do it for the huge rage, and they do it too
maleszgabesz | 19 March 2005 - 11:20pm
dont listen to shitpop, thats all
femalefekete_virag | 20 March 2005 - 10:09am
I know that a metal concert isn't playback, so I wrote that I like for exaple Kispál és a Borz, because their concert isn't playback...
