its not. has lovely landscapes etc. But then again... If you're more of a uptown guy, stick to large cities... so...Helsinki Or then just the bigger ones Tampere, Jyväskylä, Oulu, Turku etc...

maybe boring is not the right word..i wouldnt say that Finland is boring,maybe coz i dont live there ,but i will call it specific country...sometimes strange a little bit but nice anyway

oh c'mon.. finland aint that boring. There are lots of wonderful things here.. Fresh air atleast... You dont get that in the major cities. ;o And its alway beautiful.. Finland is not a boring country, i love it in here..

Well mostly it is quite boring. But that's just because I'm so pessimistic about this damn country right now. There are good things also, though. You can find them even without looking for them but...

I don't think Finland is boring. Here's a lot of things that one can do but I'm not gonna try to list em because that would take too much time I mean anyone can ask from me and I can tell but now I'm feeling too lazy to write a lot
yeah, finland's not boring. a lot of people say that, mostly because they live here and because they never go out and find out how much their country has to give.

Finland is GREAT! If it weren't I probably wouldn't be living here.
I don´t know if the land is boring, but the people there are. Most of the people are so unsocial that you can´t really even self understand how it can be possible. Always a cultureshock to go back to finland, I prefere Germany. Or what do you think??
If Finland was "Boring" - then that can apply to most countries too.
Perhaps a question of which country is the world is the most boring - might be more appropriate.
"quietly" finland became one of the more serious reference in the way of life in europe ! : a standart model to follow in economy and education !!! so : exceptional country mean extraordinary people ! no way about boring ! you look about sensation ? : look for ice rider on car or motorcycle or consider simply the beautiful nature of the 1000 lake nation oustanding listening to Sybellius ! somethings like that you know ! amically yours a french among others !

You have some perspective when you travel around.... And based on my own experiences, I'd say yeah Finland is a relatively boring country.
depends on what you think is interesting... i like it and for me it's the best place to be. unfortunately i'm still stuck in f***** switzerland
I've been in Finland recently and it wasn't boring at all, on the contrary: Time passed too fast. 
i've been in finland for 7 months now and i love it.
i come from vienna (1.6 mio inhabitants) and now live in a 3500-people community, which was a huge change for me and i was afraid i would be bored here. but i'm not!
i found great friends and it's fun hanging out with them.
sure, it's annoying that whenever i need to do some "bigger" shopping (clothes, cds etc.) i need to find someone to take me by car to the next bigger town.
i think it doesnt depend necessarily on the place you are, but on the people you know and what YOU decide what you wanna do with your life.
even life in lively cities such as new york can be boring, if you just sit in your appartment staring at the wall.

i assume these people who are calling finland boring have not visited helsinki. it has so much to offer! there are very many museums and islands that you can visit if you like shopping you will also soon notice that there are great malls aswell. if you have the chanse you should also visit lappland in the winter, because as we all know tha santa in originally from finland
