What kind of Christian is YOUR favorite?
1) Fallen Catholic -- Loves the church -- gives him something to b!tch about.
2) Devout Catholic -- Doesn't 'worship' Mary, just asks her to put in a good word with God since he's not good enough to talk to the Head Guy himself and needs an intercessor ( didn't Someone DIE to get that job?).
3) Rabid, homophobic, abortionist-killing, bug-eyed fanatic --um... 'nuff said.
4) Holy Roller -- Gets saved every other week and likes to dance in the aisles and get smacked on the forehead.
5) Church Lady -- Her spiritual gifts are gossip and judgementalism, "If the King James Bible was good enough for Peter and Paul, then it's good enough for ME".
6) Apologetist -- Well-informed, intellectual, calm, balanced and would rather talk about truth than emotion.
7) Born-Again, Conservative, Evangelical, Fundamentalist -- Actually believes the Bible is true, has a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, Shares the Gospel with others ( in a non-confrontational way ), has eschewed the gee-gaws and doo-dads of organized religion in favor of a Bible-only brand of doctrine.
8) Christian Pixie-head -- Believes in a smorgasbord of fluffy religious ideas and feel-good doctrines that may change from week to week depending upon what book she's recently read.
9) Jesus-Hippy -- It's all about the Man from Galilee, what He sez goes, love and peace brother.

Haha, good list. I actually prefer christians that live and let live, don't try to force their religion down people's throats, and aren't completely intollerant to people of other faiths. Also if they don't 'have pity' on us without religion, and they don't patronise us, and they don't think they're better than the 'poor, misguided non-believers', it's helpful. I'm not saying that most or all christians are like this, btw.

I choose the Born-Again, Conservative, Evangelical, Fundamentalist who is so passionate about her beliefs that all she wants to do is stand on top of a mountain and proclaim the Good News, who knows she has Someone to count on when all the world has turned away, who can tell right from wrong because they are explicitly stated (and not because it's what she happens to feel is right in a certain circumstance), and who would NEVER trade a church ritual or the idea of organized religion for the TRUTH stated in the Bible - God's breathed Word which never changes and never fails.
That's what I choose.
