What fascinates you?

I don't know where this should be but.... What fascinates you and have always been fascinating to you?
For instance in my situation it's Native Americans. I've been fascinated by them since I was little and learned they excisted - and for some reason I feel attached to them. I've been lucky to find native americans online and talk with them about their culture.... I suppose I'm looking for answers in why I feel so attached to them. Have any of you experienced that?

I am fascinated by the Incas. I find it amazing how they could have been so developed and also create such amazing architecture.
So sod that there were the Spanishs

Recently, nothing fascinates me and i have little or no interest in anything. But otherwise i could say guitar, music, the emotions within pieces of music and how they can compliment/change people's emotions and moods. The stars, the universe.....and other things.

A lot of things are fascinating to me, in fact, I find just about everything fascinating when taking the time to look and appreciate it. But there's one little thing that I never knew before and discovered that is quite interesting, when you throw up a bottle containing juice or water or something and spin it so that it's kind of like making a summersault, the liquid inside splits in half, moves apart and leaves a gap in the middle, how cool is that?

Hmm, from my point of view, the most interesting thing is life itself: on a molecular level. It's a great feeling if you begin to understand how everything is working and how it has developed.
The second thing is astrophysics. In some way it's the same story, the only difference: the object of interest is not a living cell, but the universe itself.
Finally the third one is rather abstract: the beauty and elegance of mathematics and mathematical proofs. It's not an easy topic to deal with, but it's definitly worth the try. I'll never forget the day, when I found (for the first time) a proof of a rather non trivial theoreme, without any help, just by thinking, it's a wonderful feeling.

History fascinates me - specifically Western History. This is probably because I'm very interested to learn more about my other side of the family, who comes from Europe (Spain).
