Hmmm, it is very comfortable to live in Norway....do believe that answers your question Smile

maleJanus_ | 27 November 2006 - 5:04pm

I think I would. Just depends if I can make a decent living in the other country. But I would never go to the US and probably not to Scandinavian countries.

Maybe I would

malemicha65 | 27 November 2006 - 5:38pm

If that country has about the same standard of living I probably would.

malealeksey_senin | 27 November 2006 - 5:43pm

Hard question, i think yes, but it depends on many things - for now i just can't answer firmly

I would for sure. I am going to do that next year Smile and well, I wouldn't like to move to Asia, India, Cuba or the USA.

It depends on which country it would be. I wouldn't like living too close to the equator since I burn so easily. Laughing Central/North Europe would be okay at least.

yes definitely even if meant taking up waitressing to keep myself occupied. but i'd have to discuss it with the other person first. i'm lucky being a european means i have 25 other countries i could settle in . while the culture may be different for each (and long may it stay that way) it's not too different from what i'm use to. i may hesitate if was the wilds of borneo but then again there is the wildlife. Smile

malesecretperson | 27 November 2006 - 6:58pm

well i wud probably go for the one i love Smile:)Smile:)

I met my wife 18 years ago while I was with military unit stationed here in Germany. When I got out of the military I stayed here instead of going back to my home country.

Yeah....I did that already when I moved to Australia because my then-husband was Australian. Immigrating is no joke. It really requires toughness and the strength to experience a culture-shock.

Also, you leave everyone and everything behind. You no longer have relatives living in the same country as you. In my case, they are approx 12,000 miles away. But, knowing my rels, it's probably a good thing! Laughing

I found it more difficult to leave my friends behind.
