I think about the past more often than I dream about it. But I have had some strange dreams involving my childhood before. Just not very often.

No I never dream about my past. Maybe people from my past may play un unexpected role in my dreams, but not related to any incidents.

I have been recently as i lost a very close friend who i had known for 25 years
Yes. The Past still holds strong memories for me. Sometimes, I get flash-backs....some good, some bad.
Can you imagine how weird it would be if all our past memories were erased? I think that happens to people who suffer from sudden amnesia. Can you imagine living with that problem??
Sometimes I think amnesia wouldn't be so bad.
My more pleasant memories seem to be about people like my grandmother and my father who have passed on.
Some things I thought would be so pleasant to remember often now seem anything but....

Sometimes i do. Mostly about people from the past is totally different and strange situations. I think about the past often sometimes in a negative way sometimes in a positive way. I love talking about old holidays or old school stuff and so on.

Yes, I think a lot in the past, analyzing it, finding things that were hidden or just unclear, trying to figure out what of my life would have been if that or that or so... just for fun, I enjoy it a lot.

Two nights ago I dreamt literally of the past.
I had a nightmare: I dreamt my father (who died 20 years ago) had turned into Dracula and tried to get into the house.
I'm not joking.
Maybe I ate something wrong?
