Next time you're in Cardiff (the capital of Wales) come and crash at my house, it's Welsh accent heaven if you like that sort of thing!

They use that terribly sexy accent (if one can understand it) to melt the hearts of us folks from lands afar. Aye, that's right ya Welsh we know that! Not so different from your neighbours further north in Kiltland...the famous Scots. Only difference I think is that the Welsh don't wear skirts or er-m kilts or do they? Did the Welsch actually invent anything like the Scots? I would love to know!

I like the Scots English most. They have the same accent as I do.

I recently came back to Wales from a year abroad and realised how indian us welsh actually sound!
Anyone else ever noticed? & when you say beer-can in a welsh accent it sounds like bacon in jamaican.. Smile

malepietro della | 26 March 2008 - 5:01pm

Bogmyrtle, while the scots were waving claymores the welsh had already invented a bow so powerful it could only be fired by using legpower..It could go right through TWO knights in shining armour..
