What first comes to your mind when you think on 'Argentina'?
I'm argentinean.. but if I were a foreigner..
*and for instance if I were foreign football fan (80% of the male population in argentina are football fans.. I guess), I'll think in "Argentina: Football. Maradona... Boca Jrs.[?]"
*If I were a Music Lover.. I'll probably think on Tango... Carlos gardel, on dancing tango.. or maybe Piazolla.
* I could think on the 'Obelisco'. On Caminito... on Puerto Madero.
* On the patagonia, and the landscapes.
and sadly, I've meet a lot of people who comes out with that 
* in the "no llores por mi argentina".. and sung by Madonna..

Dulce de leche and mate!! Hehe, I went on exchange there for 3 months and my best friend worked at a dulce de leche factory so we got all sorts of goodies from her. *lol* Argentina is a wonderful country with amazing people. I'm considering moving there permanently someday!!

Starting again:D, I can say what I've heard from foreign people, and most of the stuff was already mentioned! : Maradona [first, no doubt! :S]; many soccer players [specially those ones who are in Europe!] Boca Juniors [lol, you favourite team;)], Buenos Aires, Patagonia!, the Waterfalls, the Falkland Islands - Islas Malvinas, Tango, People protesting on the streets lol hmm I think I'll stop here as I'm repeating everything:D y me están echando de la computadora:D

I didn't say Maradona, because, for me, football is not that important.. but I have to name him too because even when I went to Egypt in 1994 or 1995, every single man said: "Argentina??? MARADONAAA!!!" They didn't even know where Argentina is located, but they did know Argentina because of Maradona...
