@SkyPiercer: that's the good of personal opinions. In fact, in my personal opinion I'm much more beautiful than Monica.

As for Laura Antonelli, in the 70s she has made many movies that we can define as erotic, not porn. So no, she wasn't a porn actress but indeed she has been a sex symbol for a decade or so. In the 80s she most played comedies or some sexy movies which weren't that erotic anymore. In the 90s her career got to an end because police found her in possession of quite a big amount of cocaine. She has been put in a sort of rehab and after 10 years she has been judged not guilty of drug dealing but just a drug addict. That's already pretty sad but we do have to add that she had some bad cosmetic surgery that left her disfigured.

Personally I like her (previous) appearance a real lot, but I never liked the movies she played in or her acting skills. Well never considered them much of a masterpiece And I think that if she wasn't mentioned it could be because of that. Just wondering.

Some people are just overhyped by the medias/fans. Yes, beauty is so subjective.

About Laura what you have just said is very sad indeed...We can only feel compassion for her. For actresses, the late part of their carriers is always complicated. The situation is so difficult for them when beauty starts fading : depression, drugs, surgeries.

I've just thought that she wasn't well known...I too cannot consider them as master pieces ! But some of those movies are quite entertaining aren't they ?
