Malaysia is the best country in the world for past of 50 years, freedom of belief-religion and cultures, lately with mushrooming of temples--churches-Buddhist-Hindus-christians -others,too freely that lately posed a big problems as they were erected on state land or unsafe locations (now they have to apply for approval and be registered for safety of the prayers of being con or victimised ,molested, injuries of building safety standards) eventhough it is a muslim country, compares to muslims who had been suppressed in non muslim lands.

Nope we don't. If we do, then why can't a Muslim be converted to becoming a Christian when she found out about the passion of Christ. It's her individual self and her own beliefs. If there is such thing to freedom of religion, then why is she condemned and sent off for a spiritual rehabilitation? Yet again, the law is the law, once born into a Muslim family, you will be Muslim till the day you die - in the case of Malaysia's civil politics.

We do have a certain degree on the freedom on choosing our own religion although I guess the muslims have less of that. I can't really comment but the only thing I can say is that there is the tolerance factor between all Malaysians. My mother converted into a muslim after divorcing my father and now I am staying with her and my stepdad. I guess this is where tolerance comes in because we have different religious beliefs but we're living in the same household. I notice that the majority of the society in Malaysia acts the same way too in having tolerance. I don't know but I just think it's very important for every Malaysians to have some tolerance in them especially with Malaysia being a multiracial country. lol. I think I might have gone overboard with this but hey...it's just my 2 cents.

this isnt a sensitive issue at all. just that most so called muslims in malaysia are afraid of their pride being stamped into the ground. this is why any issue relating to religion intolerance would never resolve. most will resort to being ignorant and insolent leaving the blister to burst. why cant we do anything about this? where is the freedom of religion you are boasting about?
