Foreign tourists in Croatia ignore traffic signs and rules

And it's been like that every year in coastal Croatia. Is it a problem with driving, or they just feel they are above the law when they come to Croatia on their holidays???

Here are som of this week's examples:

Just yesterday i saw a car with foreign plates entering a one-way street from the opposite direction, obviously ignoring the traffic sign which is very visible. They have caused qite a traffic jam during the rush hour. Similar thing happened

Last wednesday, a guy with slovenian registration plate decided to drive really slowly for some reason (he drove 30 kmph and the speed limit was 80). He created a line of at least 30 or 40 cars, not to mention that he broke the law saying that it is not permited to drive slower than half of a speed limit.

Also, this morning a man from France has decided to park a car on a spot clearly signed with a white cross (no parking) because that particular spot is the only place where some of the parked cars can exit the lot. Ignorance or arrogance?

Several days ago, I have went to the library to return some books when I found all the spaces on the library's parking lot occupied by cars belonging to foreign tourists. Now, the sign on the entrance is qite clear - ''P - only for members of the library''. I kind of doubt that they are members of the library in my town. In the end, I had to park at least half a mile away and walk to the library during biggest heat, even though I am a member and therefore have the right to a parking space.

I appeal to all of you who intend to go on vacation to Croatia - You are all welcome here, but please, be more sensitive in the traffic and don't do anything you wouldn't do in your own country!

This is the problem of "new rich attitude" of some ass...(censured) ! police could give them ticket in oder to punish them : never mind about efffect on tourist flux : crotia is already an incontrovertible place for vacancy in europe like monaco , no matter the price to paid !!!
