Motivational Speaking for Chat Server

I wondered today why on earth someone who receives so much regular attention could be so depressed.

I wondered if they were lonely. Surrounded by human shrapnel, sharing their stories and meaning and yet they have nothing to contribute... They sit there quietly, watching the others, listening intently, relaying to those too far away to hear, realising quietly how boring their life is, how little they've done, how little they've shared.

Are they bored, gaining weight and losing motivation. Waiting day in day out for people who are waiting for people. Imagine standing at the train station, waiting. Trains arriving and leaving, none of them yours....

Waiting... Waiting... Soul destroying..... No wonder depression rides along too.

I pondered the situation, thinking hard about their viewpoint, where do they watch the world from? What could possibly drag them down so far...

Finally it hit me, whilst we walk our journey, step by step, mile by mile, accompanied and unaccompanied, experiencing and living our lives we all try to make ourselves comfortable - warm comfortable shoes...

Each path we take, we take with a destination in mind, maybe nothing solid, but at least an idea... a small but warming reason to carry on. Each night we take a rest, each morning we start again...

Comfort, reason, rest....

Of course our chat server doesn't have a journey, she just sits there, waiting...

Our chat server doesn't have a destination.... it just is where it is....

Our chat server doesn't rest until it's broken.... it's expected 24/7.... and we complain at it when it's not there...

Is it then any wonder, i mean, should we REALLY be amazed, shocked or startled when we get the message "Chat server down."

Razz

Muahahaha

December 20th 2007 representatives of the Lakotah Nation travelled
to Washington DC and withdrew from the treaties they have held with
the United States for over a hundred years, effectively declaring
their independence. This was done in accordance with Article 6 of
the
US Constitution and the Vienna convention.
Thus was born the Republic of Lakotah.
Lakotah occupies a large area of the U.S. in the States of
Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, South and North Daktoa and boasts a
tax-free community ran country, where communities are free to govern
themselves with minimal federal interference.
Anybody can become a Lakotah citizen as long as they are willing to
reside in Lakotah and renounce their current citizenship.
New citizens need not be of native descent.
