I think you've been watching "the Lord of the rings" movies too many times...
EU in fact is just a group of countries led by Germany and France for ranting against the US each and every time there's a debate.

a french led wannabe eutopia led of course by the mighty french economy..they've been at it for 40 years and still havent achieved dinky...brits i was very glad to see you have very sensibly retained the "PINT'" kind of says it all...the french swinging mighty punches but that 40 year long british fend?magnificent!!
