maybe for some its not a dilemma at all but if you had to choose between money and youth what would you choose?

At this precise moment I'm not impressed at all about the possibility of either one of those two options (yes, I know it's strange). But if I had to choose I'd always choose youth.

Both are not the most important but I would choose money I guess.

femaleDarkMelody | 5 November 2007 - 11:18am

I would choose money..

Well, i don't give much of a damn about money, or remaining young forever, but at this moment in time i would choose money. Could do with a few notes, ya know. Wink

youth ...at least, when young there are increased possibilities to make money too ... Razz

malepietro della | 5 November 2007 - 6:03pm

i agree with constantinos,,money is both made and inherited, and enlarged...how many international fortunes have been made by determined young people..how pleasant it is at times to revisit ones youth...whatever it was ,it WAS.

malekonstantinos | 5 November 2007 - 10:47pm

I bet these two life's essential parameters will always be confronted
Youth (if lost), is like the Holy Grail to be found..as mythic as it can be
Money,on the other side, can definately be the ultimate "good hand" in life's adventurous poker
(Ha-ha, the Greece channel is slightly getting into philosophical concerns..)

this dilemma in my opinion is an utopia..... i think is a question with no correct or false answer..... if we were in an ideal world nor money or youth would be in opposite sides...... but its interesting to get answers for this questions cause people tend to change from time to time except this eternal dilemma

I also think that's utopia
allow me this rather "dark" comment :
Life's epitome is its very...end
What's the difference between being a young dead
and a rich dead ? None....as said, their similarities are"ashes to ashes, dust to dust"
Youth and money, thanks to our (human) collective subconscious, are historically perceived as eternal values that have to be preserved and even "restored" , if possible and no matter what............

malepoison dreams | 7 November 2007 - 8:28pm

...I couldnt say it any better...

Modern and ancient world's ethics always accept and re-estasblish the so called 'primal values', according to set standards.
Modern world mostly works on statistics and therefore re-elaborates the "new era of things to come"
We all do live in a mass-mediated state of things (the absolute and mind changing dictatorship) where
youth (as the "clearest" and more ''effective'' power of humankind ) has to confront money's accumulation imperatives via a social/ideological "war'' of self existence....
As a total image, being young and wealthy, isn't it "lovely" ?

femaleSarin | 8 November 2007 - 1:34pm

Money can't buy you youth.
So i would choose youth. I would have the time, if i was smart enough, to make much money i guess ???

malekonstantinos | 8 November 2007 - 5:25pm

Indeed, money cannot buy youth...at best, it could buy.. extended plastic surgeries ...
(haha- "the return of the mummy" ! )

Wink Thumb up

Isn't Greece famous for it's philosophers? Very happy

As for the dilemma: money! What use is youth when you don't have money. But even when you are old, you can have a lot of fun ways to spend money!

oh, i love this debate...it could be endless...and no limits are opposed to its participants

And yes, this very channel (aka Greece),can (and always could) handle any possible thought, may that
be philosophical, political....or even funny ! our basic ingredient here is good will................................
