No I don't, but unfortuately there have been many controversial reports in the news lately that when employers are considering possible candiates for positions, some do scan Facebook for incriminating personal traits you might have that could cause possible problems in the future for their company. ie. discrimination, prejudice etc.
Facebook is a lot of fun to use among your friends, but we all have to understand it is not private or confidential and is open to the general public.

Someone invited me to join Facebook and create a profile there, but as a very private person anyway, I don't think I'd really want to do that, especially based on what I've been reading about identity theft and all those problems. So I have so far refrained.

Hmm, i admit many people invited me to have an account there...
But seems like there's a trouble, when i tried to make an account, feels like i have filled all the fields- including the network ( i'm a student, cause i couldn't find my school at the network list, i type it by myself, and ' network not found' appeared )....but, it failed. It said that i didn't fill all the field ( mybe cause i didn't choose one of the networks given? )
My friend in Medan try it too, and negative. Maybe that's why it's not too popular here... me too are going to lose it.

I have a Facebook profile but the way I've activated it only my friends can see it and those exclusively invited. I don't go overboard with all the clutter that you can add to it though. I use it mainly for my photos and to keep in touch with people.
