How Do You Usually Celebrate New Year?

You usually celebrate it with your family, or you just go out with friends? Or maybe you don't celebrate it at all? I usually stay with my family till 12.00 and go out after with some m8s. I plan to do something completely different this year tho....still planning!

I celebrate it with my family... 2 years in row I spent it over my friend's house, but now I usually spend it on my aunt's farm... my cousin's cousins come from Spain since they live there... and since I also intend to live abroad(USA), I'll spend new year with my family, cause I dunno my tomorrow, I may not see them as much as I seem them now.

The last few years i was usually home alone, but I dont mind at all.

malefalling_fenix | 20 November 2007 - 6:42pm

New year will be a tuesday, i think. I don't celebrate tuesdays. Very happy I only celebrate occasions that mean something to me. New year is not one of those occasions.

These years I don't really celebrate it at all. I just stay at home with my folks and I relax. I watch something fun on TV, some comedy shows, I listen to music. There's always a lot of food and some drinks on table. So, that's it. Nothing special at all. Just a time to relax, rest and reflect on the passing year and look ahead to the plans for the new year.

This always gives me a really special feeling. There's alot of nice things to eat, like 'Oliebollen'. For the ones who don't know what it is: GOOGLE. Coz it's delicious! And you can easily make it yourself. And then when the moment is there, it feels like the world is one. Everyone congratulating eachother. You kiss the ones you'd usually never EVER kiss Razz It's just perfect. Well nearly, coz on the other hand it's makin me feelin a lil down. Another year has then passed and everything goes SO bloody fast Sad

I usually spend it together with my family, it's no big deal for me. They usually show 'Dinner for One' on tv, that's always fun to watch. This year I'm planning to 'celebrate' a bit differently, i.e. by myself. Grinning at Chistmas

At home with my parents and another couple, parents' best friends - their kids suck.
I can't be bothered to go out, i think that night is overrated. Tho this yr i prob will since my sister and her bf and my partner are coming round.

we would always have a new year's party with family and close friends either at home or at someone else's place Smile we'd stay up all night until like maybe 4 or 5 am or something like that Laughing there will be lots of food and games and just quality time together and oh ya there always has to be the karaoke Very happy not to mention the big party shown on tv where they countdown at midnight.

malezoom1018 | 2 March 2008 - 11:19am

I usually celebrate new year on a plane Very happy yup yup I hate celebrating new year if you might ask, so my solution is to get away from home, otherwise I just stay at home alone and that is much more comfortable seeing people rushing round on the streets in the heat and sunshine inhaling all the dirt and causing all the accidents!!!
