E-mails when I want a quick answer.

I have always loved writing and receiving letters, but I use E-mail much more than letters because E-mail is quicker. Other reason is because many of my friends don't really like writing letters, so we keep in touch via E-mail most of the time.

Well, it depends what friends you mean.. my penpals/mailfriends do I write to through letters or emails and my close friends I usually call or write sms' with

i would say with my online friends it would be more instant messenger ......... i am not good at snailmail and emails yes not bad but most my close online buddies will phone me or text me

I email and chat the most. Its just faster, although I do have a few letter pals left.

I prefer emails because they are so instantaneous, and no stamp required etc...But, there is a relative of mine who never seems to receive my emails. I haven't the foggiest idea as to why not. So, in a case like that I am forced to use postal mail.

i prefer to write to people, it more personal. of course calling or texting it good, but if there in another country the time difference causes problems. I will email from time to time, it fun to get a response in a day or less rather than may be a week or more by snail mail.

i don't really write letters anymore, i just write emails, but even writing emails for me is rare i guess i've been a lil more isolated lately

It really varies. I find with friends I have met, but who live a distance away I tend to email or phone. With pen pals I actually prefer letter, or both letters and emails. The whole letter writing experience just seems a little more personal, plus swapping post cards and the likes really adds to the enjoyment of it.

I enjoy doing both, it's great when I can email my friends overseas and fill them in with all the latest news, but then if i am away because of my job which does happen from time to time I enjoy writing them letters
