I will be studying in Denmark in the fall and I was wondering if anyone had any advice (weather, traveling, things to do, places to eat, etc.!)

Where in Denmark are you going to stay, if I may ask? You can do all sorts of things, depending on what interests you.. there are lots of things to see in the Copenhagen area, but of course also around the rest of the country. You can also go to e.g. Sweden or Germany for a visit, fairly simple by train. As for the weather then it can be rather unpredictable.. in the summer it's sometimes sunny and 30+ °C, but it might as well be windy and just below 20 °C. In the winter the temperature goes below the freezing point.. sometimes around -10 °C I guess.. and when we're lucky we have snow. You can always find a hot dog stand when you want to eat something.. but there's also places like McD, Burger King, pizzerias, restaurants.. but it's cheaper to prepare your own food. Hope some of this has been helpful somehow, otherwise feel free to ask again. I hope you have a great time here!

mange tak! I will be living in the København area, but I'm not sure exactly where yet. I am so excited to go to Denmark! I am currently trying to learn a little bit of danish, and I will be taking a class in danish when I am there. I will probably be living with a danish roommate but I don't know much about it. Do most young people live in the city of copenhagen or do most live in the surrounding areas?

I was also wondering what music was popular in Denmark right now? what groups/artists?

Not being from the Copenhagen area myself, I'm not really the best qualified person to answer this.. but it is my impression that there are a lot of young people living in Copenhagen, many move there during studies, but I don't know what part of the city exactly. But I think it's pretty fast to get around the whole area with public transport anyway.

As for the music, then try to have a look at the official Danish chart. There's an album chart, track chart, as well as radio airplay chart in the menu at the left. Those should be able to give you an idea of what's popular at the moment. If you want I can also give you the link to some Danish radio stations that you can listen to, or mention some Danish artists.
