'Dreams are false yet somehow valuable'
What do you think? Oh, and by the word dream I do not mean the dreams we have when we sleep, but those we tend to invent and pursue. So, I am particularly referring to wants, hopes and fantasies.

I see it so and so! Of course we have dreams we would like to become true, but on the other hand we also have to give up some of them by realizing that we won't achieve anything and go forward to get new ones.
There are also many young people who tend to do that, unfortunately.
I don't like dreams. They can be very motivating, of course, but on the other hand they lead your thinking away from the presence and often tend to become too big. Besides... don't know how to explain it in English... one should be ready to die any moment. If you have dreams, you are not ready... you still have something to do.... I am too lazy to write on, but I could say much more about it (in German *g*).
I love to dream and create what I want. It usually comes true because I create the dreams without any expectations or putting certain limits on the dreams on how they should be fulfilled.
Dreams are very valuable because thoughts are energy. Thoughts always become things.

very interesting topic..i call them daydreams and i am sure that at one time we have all had them..everyone relates to them differently..for myself the realm of daydream rapidly becomes reality because my mind begins searching for ways to give them effect including if they are about a woman, but mostly they are about work which is about what i have right now...
dreams can keep u plodding onwards when all else seems to go wrong .... i think to have dreams is healthy cos u got sumthing to head towards

Can be dreams equal to planning? If so, yeah maybe they are sort of useful. But the real value are your actions, and the results always vary at least a little bit from what you expected. So...sometimes (in my case) they have always been waste of time...i do have B plans though

Little to the left.
If a dream is a goal, then it's something to be achieved, so it's not false and of course it's valuable. If it's a fantasy, then of course it will never be reached, and it's pointless.

can`t imagine the life without dreaming. It would be soooo boring! I see the life without dreaming like a man without sense of humour. The same vapid.

Oh dreams are very valuable. Whether they are for ourselves, our children and families. Goals we set and try to shoot for, gives us also one of the main reasons for going on. When we stop dreaming, this is when we slowly start to die inside. Unfortunately you tend to see this more in older people when sickness and frailties set in. It is their loss of drive in life.
