I think their names are terry an Bandi or something like that. The little girl has her own t.v. animal show I believe, really a cute little girl, such a sad thing to happen to that family. I saw them on our animal planent show on t.v. just a few times, they were taking a tour of the U.S. and very popular here. Then they just disappeared. I have been wondering what they are up to.

Thank you conservative Bush/McCain Republicans for global warming, the use of food (corn ethanol) in the gas tanks of SUV's causing famine all over the world. resulting in slow death for all life on earth. Thank you for urban sprawl, the non-stop building of new homes that no one wants, and the destruction of all farmland to build the new homes with illegal labor from south of the border that you won't protect. Thank you for trying to destroy Social Security and medical care for all Americans, great bunch of guys, oh did I mention the non stop wars to support conservative republican arms and ammunition manufactures?

Oh, you mean "Bindi"...

I believe she has just launched a new "Bindi doll" into the consumer market.. get yours TODAY!

I don't really watch Animal Planet... my CAT does though... speaking of cats, I was just minding my own business in my front yard today and an old lady started chatting to me about her 4 cats. She even invited me over to her place to check out her cat enclosure (I didn't go)... so after about an hour she left... but I must smell of musk or something, because she came back 2 hours later to chat some more but this time she woke me up from my afternoon nap ...I'd fallen asleep while listening to Bryan Ferry's "As Time Goes By" cd... as far as rock'n'roll singers go, Bryan has great hair... but his Noel Coward style crooning lends itself to those 1930s tunes quite nicely... another thing about Mr Ferry, he surrounds himself with ace musicians and great arrangements. Did you check out his "Live In Paris" dvd? I love the babes comprising his string quartette.. they have such nice napes... I dig ladies' napes... and those 4 chicks possess beautiful swan-like necks.. lovely throats... so inviting to a razor..oh, I'm sorry! A little bit of Sweeney Todd crept in there....ah yes, the demon barber of Fleet Street..maybe Bindi will open a barber shop next...who knows?..who cares?...

Oh..and tell those goddamn Abos that I'm NOT sorry! I wasn't even THERE!

now now dont go pick on the abos , they were taken from thier parents and had to learn to read and write which is aginst thier culture and then they had to learn to eat healthy food instead of the usual kangaroo and goanna which was part of thier culture so thier life expectantly went from 33 years to 57 years so dont go picking on them they had to endure a lot oh yeah bindi and terri they is kicking around some where

WHAT? You mean that our despicable behaviour in the past has actually almost DOUBLED their life span?

That means that WE, the whiteys, got the bad end of the boomerang.... every Boong gets an extra 22 years of welfare loot to blow at the local bush bottlo...

NOW I'm "sorry"!

oh lads, its good to be back in the land of the sense of humor, which is extracted at birth in my office mates in Ireland. Bindi? Terry? sad story but seriously, Steve spent the best part of 40yrs sticking his grinning face into the mouth of a croc or worse, jabbing a paw at a snake taking a nap & more much more, like chasing them when they ran away! (lowering his odds?) I know he was a great guy & his family & the nation loved him but i was always waiting for the day he'd annoy something too much & unfortunately that day came. He did bring the animal kingdom to life for the every day armchair traveller at great personal risk & get all sorts of things started for preservation, thats a given. His daughter Bindi started very young too, I hope she's a bit more careful than her crazy lovable dad. Just catchin up here, been away from OZ too long, want to head back but Im trapped in this damp climate for two more years so keep talking lads, I need to let your maddness wash over me.

Hi!

I'm new to this site from NW Montana, USA. Thought I'd jump in on a note that I have to harp on when someone brings up Steve and his family. I loved that show and envied his wife greatly, (wish I could fall in love with a good looking Australian Veterinarian), but I feel so emmensly sorry for her and especially their daughter! In my opinion, he didn't deserve the family he had. He left me with the feeling that his ego and showbiz meant more to him. I wasn't a bit surprised at his fate, in fact I don't think anyone was including him, (maybe some sort of a twisted death wish?) Anyway, because of him and many other Australian based shows I have had the chance to see a place I have wanted to visit my entire life. In fact I even had an Australian penpal when I was little! It was the only one I had until the internet.

I have a question to post to anyone from this great land. I have 3 red Queenland Heelers and love them tremendously. I will never want another breed. But every time I go to pet them, it's like putting my hands in a tank of piranha, they're so exuberantly mouthy! Does everything in Australia bite? How about the men? LOL, just kidding. But really, the land is so joyiously rich for animal lovers like myself. I envy Aussies.
