The exotic animals (to us), kangaroos, wallabies, platypuss, great white sharks, etc.

I wonder do they show the (exotic) animals of America and Europe on Austrailian t.v.?

Cause it's so far away, and Unfamiliar, people who live in America and Europe find it more interesting than the more every day things they see in their own countries I guess

malejavelin | 4 February 2008 - 4:40pm

But doesn't the same thing apply to Austrailians?

it is very true. i'm from romania, europe and i can say i really really love australia for the differences between my continent and it. i never saw a kangoroo or a white shark (not even in a zoo here), so u can understand why i find it so interesting. and another fact is the weather...i hate snow and i have it almost half of the year in romania. i would give anything to live in warm places like u do, so be proud of what you have Smile)
