and don't forget customer service and after sales service. After living in many parts of the world, Australia really lags behind in these areas.

having worked in customer service up until a month ago, it doesn't help when some customers are such dumb asses and rude gits, especially in the CBD of any major city here. But i agree broadband internet speeds are crap here, hope they can improve them!

nothing wrong with us customers , its not our fault that we rock up when you are trying to chat up the bloke at the next counter Sticking out tongue there aint nothing wrong with the internet speed its the sites you visit they dont have enough phone lines to handle the visiters to their computer or their comuters are not good enough to handle the visitors Angry

There is pretty much everything I need here.. I have to import assorted foreign movies and cool tunes because they are not available here.. and if they are then they are overpriced to buggery.

...which reminds me, I wonder if Larrikin Records is still operating in Paddington. Their slogan used to be "Real Music In A Sea of Sh*t". I used to go there to get all the cool country, gospel, blues, jazz and reggae music when all those poncey British "hair bands" ruled the airwaves in the 80s... yeah, remember Duran Duran, A Flock Of Seagulls, and Ultravox?? Even Elvis Costello seemed to have lost his "edge" back then. Beats me why they called the 80s "the big party"... aw, don't mind me..I'm just old and grumpy.
