If you work do you wear a name tag at your job or a badge?
Also do you have to wear a uniform?

No on both counts. I have to wear a suit which I enjoy doing anyway so it's not bad at all.

I have had to wear a uniform in my time and it all depends on the colour and the fit of the uniform. Some look great and some look horrendous!

I work in a hospital so I have to have my name badge on me. I don't have to wear a uniform as such, just dress clean and smart, which I do all the time anyway. Smile

I never had to wear a name badge, and do overalls count as a uniform?

No to the badges and yes to the uniform - black trousers, black shoes, black polo shirt with company logo on... soon to be fitted shirts. UGH.

I can wear whatever I like!
I'm even allowed to wear my collar and wristbands at work. even though I do serve customers sometimes
(I work in bikeshop)

A few years ago, I used to work at Mcdonalds.. We had to wear both, but mostly we had stupid names on our nametags, like Superman ect.

maleAtreides | 8 February 2008 - 12:39pm

Just on purpose. I mean, when we go on the street is nice to be identified as press, so we have jackets and ID's to wear just for the ocassion!!!!! I don't like it very much, but it opens doors very quickly!!!!!!!!!

No uniform, no tags. I have badge with my photo and company name, but I not must wear it - it's like journalistic sertificate only.

femalecarrie_claire | 10 April 2008 - 7:03am

No name tags but the uniform, coming soon. I hope its well made and comfortable to wear.
