Well if you want to get some taken expect the unexpected to happen with those pics just as it did with a famous Hong Kong actor who had his pictures end up on the web without his approval and he thought his pics were safe. In these days of communications the only way you can be sure they won't end up into the world is not taking any otherwise you never know as a pc or a camera can be stolen and then surprise they are into the world or even someone might hack into your computer and get them from there.

I guess its more important to know what happens with the pictures afterwards.

Why would anyone want or need pictures when they have the real thing???

I wonder how many people have gone along with this when they're all loved up only to find their pictures doing the rounds online later when things go wrong.

Do it if you like but: a) don't feel pressurised to do it; and b) don't be surprised if you see them somewhere where they shouldn't be later!!!

if you break up or go your separate ways..make sure you know where the pictures are..
Now, for some people there might be a worry that they'll keep copies and spread them around..
that's up to you..
But at least make certain that you yourself have copies.

I think it depends upon the context its used in. If your partner simply wants a facimile of you for an impromptu, one-handed viewing (I think you can figure out what the other hand is doing), then I think you should be aware of such intent. Just be mindful that whatever efforts they spend in the privacy of yonder coat closet or furthest most stall in the restroom will be lost to you. They say, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Though I believe that to apply to other organs as well.

If the photograph is meant to immortalize forever the beauty/handsome appeal of your body, then that's altogether a different issue. Of all the interesting creatures that roam the earth, none are as widely varied as that of the human body. We're as much a work of art as any painting or sculpture in the Louvre. And what person doesn't dream of immortalizing themselves (or a loved one) in the prime of their lives. All things age & wrinkle over time, so by all means, If the opportunity comes to snap that photo (or my personal preference is a professionally crafted oil painting), catch it while you can.

Like stated before, you should be wary of whose hands the picture falls into. It is a private matter & should remain that way.

it but of course has to be mutual. if i can take of my wife she should be able to take of me. but anyway thats besides the point. we took pics of each other and loaded on our sets to view at special times during the period when i was posted at a place where families could not be taken. it helped.
