corruption of moral and social fabric

may be corruption is a harsh word. but i dont think anything else fits. in india we take it as a moral right, responsibility and duty to poke our noses in other peoples affairs. its acceptable for u to disagree with my views. but then we are human and this is what makes us alive. our ability to think and discern. if we just blindly agree with every thing we see or hear then we are nothing but zombies. but to disagree and take our disagreement to a physical level where violence gets involved. that is not human behaviour. that is pure law of the jungle. here we just like to throw up a ruckus on each and every thing with which we do not agree. that is not right. its hurtful and painful. that a few fringe elements take over and hijack an issue and turn the same on its head. is this what todays society is all about. making use of violence to attain ones goals? irrespective of the cost, hurt and anguish its causes other people?
