The white page is just another bug on MF.
But you don't have to be an upgraded member to put videos and stuff in your profile. All you have to do is put the right codes in your comment box.

Thanks for the link & info. i think 2 dollars a month is worth it, if for nothing else than because i have met alot of good peeps here in my previous excursions to and fro this place.

So it's kinda like paying mailfriends back from my viewpoint. and i see they have definitely put some effort into mailfriends. as much as i have bitched about this place in the past. "there's no place like home" mailfriends is truly the only online community where i feel at home. though i run away every year or so. lol

They put so much effort into their upgrade page, most of the advertised benefits either don't exist or are available to all.

I just looked at the upgraded member benefits

so you can access the adult section ,and not be shown when you go on peoples profile!

in other words you can pay to be a perv (:

You notice how we can't add comments to that page.


And also there is no adult channel, or priority support channel.


So in effect they are actually breaking the law:
for example the sale of goods act - by selling something that is not the same as it was described
and the advertising standards rules, by making false claims and advertising something that does not exist.


And talking of making false claims:

Maybe they'll sell the place again ?

I don't see why they'd pay server fees for something they have apparently abandoned.
