Why should You/I come to Finland?
I just thought to make a new topic. So, here you may ask questions about visiting in Finland and we Finns (or foreigners stayed/staying in Finland) can give you reasons and examples.
1.Where else could you swim in thousands of clear-watered lakes and rivers without fear of beasts (alligators, sharks etc.)? That's why to visit in Finland.

... and Finnish guys are very nice since they are overall quite polite and understand when they should give up and quit trying. With many other guys I need a long stick and a tazer to keep them off my skin. In Finland I didn't ever experience sexual harassment, but here I have come across it more than enough.

Since I moved abroad I have been missing from Finland...
1. Good service. Here abroad where I am now even queques at crogery stores are so much long and time-consuming. Going to bank is straight from h*ll since they continuously loose documents and forget to contact customers or provide whole service. No possibility to buy many tickets etc. by cellphone
2. people who come to meetings in time and are able to keep their promises. In Finland given promises are respected and not so lightly broken as they seem to be here where I am now.
3. Traditional dishes and proper dark bread + other crogeries (even swedish and german dark breads are not good) and there are not good supermarkets in this country where I am living now.
4. Astiankuivauskaappi, because drying dishes by cloth is boring, difficult and old-fashioned
5. Sauna. Here saunas are very rare compared to Finland.
6. The lakes and beautiful summer nights and the forests after rain.
7. Cold & snowy winter. I really used to hate winter, but this eternal autumn abroad is even worser.
8. Finnish language
9. Quiet people who don't prefer small talk. Talking is useless if one doesn't have anything important or reasonable to say.
10. Since I moved abroad I have understood that actually Finns are VERY polite.
11. At least Finnish apartments have proper heating system. Here abroad I am always freezing in winter and it's "usual".
12. The fresh air and the scent of trees and forest.
13. Fazer candies. Here candies suck except the ones they import from Switzerland or Finland and they really don't even have good icecream. The most common icecream here tastes like mixed ice and milk. It's something terrifying and even big markets have very few flavours for sale. Hardly cover chocolate, strawberry and vanilla.
14. I find Finland a lot safer and better place to live in. There is not armed bank robberies or bomb threats in Finland every week like we have here.
15. Finnish education system is very nice.
16. Young finnish people dress up more interesting way. Here people follow too much trends and that actually looks very boring since everyone is like copies of each other, because they dress up very similar way. I don't even remember when I saw here e.g a goth or lolita last time. Never I think?
I would have probably 1000 things to write, but better to stop now.
