Can anyone let us know what's happening - did the storms hit the rest of the UK already?
Apparently the windforce down at Cornwall and Devon was about 112km per hour over the past weekend. Woww, scary. What about further north up on the West Coast towards Scotland???

Oh dear...are you ever going to get summer again? Just before I came back to SA in Dec 06, the rhoddie's starting flowering and perhaps the seasons are a bit confused? I've not been to the East Coast much apart from Edinburgh and Inverness-shire. Does the east coast get snow easier/more frequent? As the west coast taking the brunt for storms, or have I got it completely wrong?

London under water? That isn't such a bad idea Wink

Hey Ed,

That's only because you live on a hill. But the British hills aren't that high at all, so I'd start looking for the next highest hillock around...

I doubt I'll ever get affected where I am. The worst affected areas are always central to the rivers. The same old "its terrible how we get flooded" yet they live next to a river.

The greatest danger to lower england is not so much the rivers but the danger from tidesurge backing them up..
