avoid the rainy season .. dont visit indonesia during november - march .. as heavy rain often cause flood in several big cities in indonesia such as jakarta .. if u go to bali during these months also will be a disaster for u as u will experience rain everday .. however, as u know lately weather is odd as rain still fallen last night ..

about the places, it will depends on what kind of place u want to see .. most of ppl know about bali or lombok, but if u would like to see other beaches or do water sport where not much ppl around, u can go to sulawesi island.
