Who is the greatest Belgian Artist?
Is it Ruebens, or one of the Breughels? The inventer of Duvel, Alechinsky, Herge, Simenon or Arno? Maybe it's Guido Gezelle or Panamarenko. Delvaux or Brel, Timmermans perhaps? Waterkeyn?

Everyone Artist is always Greatest. If even he isn't clear for the most people, he is greatest by his own works full of a philosophy of a love or drama, romanticism, naturalism, epatage... It's creative, it's not comparable. 
So, what the reason to greatest? Sport? Sex? Cooking?

Looking at the amount of books that Claus wrote, I'll probably misjudge him while having read only one. So I won't judge at all.
@ Deng: I don't see Brusselmans on tv that much, but I just like what I have read from him so far. Although I can also understand why people wouldn't like it.

Jan Van Eyck lived and worked in Bruges for a while so i will choose him.
