hi ken...well i can tell you that most portuguese-indians are in goa and maybe from there many have moved into mumbai. however that does not actually make you "portuguese." if you were born in india than you are indian. also, nazareth is not a portuguese surname, it maybe a catholic one but catholics come from many countries.
portuguese sailors found themselves on the shores of goa and inter-married with the native women there. then portugal made goa a colony until the 1960's or 1970's. indians with portuguese surnames have ones like "fernandes," "sousa (d' sousa)," "silva (d' silva)," etc... and are from goa or mumbai (but ancestory in goa).
