Will you enjoy the Olympic games as much as you did in the past?

How does the Tibet crises effect how you feel about the games being played in China?

Personnally I don't think I will enjoy them like I did when they were played in other countries. I will probably tune to other channels and watch a movie or something. If they have a lot of propaganda about being peace loving peoples I will surely find something else to do.

Thank you conservative Bush/McCain Republicans for global warming, the use of food (corn ethanol) in the gas tanks of SUV's causing famine all over the world. resulting in slow death for all life on earth. Thank you for urban sprawl, the non-stop building of new homes that no one wants, and the destruction of all farmland to build the new homes with illegal labor from south of the border that you won't protect. Thank you for trying to destroy Social Security and medical care for all Americans, great bunch of guys, oh did I mention the non stop wars to support conservative republican arms and ammunition manufactures?

I will. I'm not into sports that much and will only watch the events I'm interested in. But politics and sports are to completely different and independent things for me.

I don't know whether I'll enjoy the games. But basically, I think that sport and politics shouldn't have nothing to do with each other. Moreover, the world will anyway have a sharp eye on China in that two weeks, and China will try as much as possible to represent themselves good, in what way this is going to happen, is another question.
I'll be watching it because of the sport, otherwise I would have to wait another 4 years until the next games.

malemicha65 | 23 March 2008 - 4:41pm

I still like it a lot once it has begun.

malejaveline | 24 March 2008 - 11:36am

I hope China looes every single event. No gold, silver, or bronze medals and ends up at the bottom of the list of the nations.

femalefurballs | 1 April 2008 - 10:28am

i don't watch the olympic games, period. I prefer football any day

maledeng | 1 April 2008 - 6:42pm

I don't watch anyways. Seeing people run is like watching grass grow. what grass grows fastest, yeah yeah yeah.
But sports, and especially events like the Olympycs, are politics. Why do countries subsidise their athletes? Not because they lift up the agricultural production.
