World Coin collecting

Is it okay to trade coins through the mail? Not expensive coins, but everyday/circulating coins. I mostly like coins from Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Finland.

I think they don't like that in the post offices but at least I have received some coins by mail (not for collecting purposes though, someone just wanted to send me coins). My family only collects euro coins from different countries because for the coins of most euro countries you don't need to do anything to get them, you can simply get them sometimes as change from shops.

By the way, with coins from Germany and Finland did you mean the coins we used before euros?

Topic moved - given reason:

Relating to coin collecting which is a hobby so fits better here.

Any coins? Pre-Euro or Euro. I purchase coins through the mail now, but they are shipped from here, US, and Canada. I thought if it would be okay, I could calculate the exchange rate and send an equal value of coins for trade. Just a thought.
