I think its a cool way to meet people.. mind you there are some strange strange people on here too

What happened?

Once upon a time there was a site that worked... a site with owners who existed in the same dimensional reality as the rest of us... a site with happy smiley faces... friendly strangers... and a place to put the cat after it's been microwaved. It was a joyful time with the sounds of laughter filling it's interior and there was only the occasional congealing pool of blood spilled from the rapidly cooling corpses of admins who has the misfortune of backing onto a knife to avoid while engaging in lighthearted banter with your friends over important issues such as the colour of your wife's nipples in the year 2020. It was an age of innocence, when being gay meant two trips to the back of the bike shed with a bottle of baby oil and a copy of the latest issue of a men's health magazine. Yes, it was a time of greatness... a time to hold your head high and proclaim to the world that you were proud to be one of the great unwashed of Mailfriends.

Then a couple of years ago it went to hell in a handbasket. The end.

It depends on the channel for wxample in science,philosophy,and religion one must be ever vigilant to throw rocks and boililing oil down on the wily a theistios.

Because I want to see how many marriage-relationship proposals I received.

I was wildly entertained by Adrian's ranting and ravings (back in the days when I was willing to bake brownies for him), but now he is so sedate i wonder if the dust has done something to him...

They were good days when there was an element of danger to ranting and raving... when the possibility of having more than a vigorously shaken limp lettuce leaf was enough to shut up pretty well everybody. It was a time when the outspoken were few and far between. I remember it well, there was scarcely a day go by without some tosser with a grudge came to me asking for me to make some dickweed topic about how little johnny said naughty things about little mary to little annie behind little bobby's back and god it was fun to watch the jaws of people hit the floor when I did it.

But nowadays, with the owner not giving a toss about what people say and mods too scared to do anything harsher than a "sorry but ermm could you perhaps maybe err see if ummm well er no okay perhaps you're right yes well I'll be off then sorry to have bothered you" followed up with and a bouquet of flowers apologising for their mistake of even suggesting you might have trangressed means the thought of speaking out holds no fear for anyone. There's nothing special in ranting and raving anymore because everyone does it... I might be different again and speak out on how absolutely fucking brilliant this place is.
