i have a friend like that i dont see her as often though but we still manage to stay in contact even though our paths are going down different roads. we cry with eachother all the time. she is the only person i have cried around besides my mother shes a true friend is always by my side no matter what. i wouldnt as for anyone else !!!!

Actually the reason i post this because I thought about this true friend things last night, and it renders me restless. You see there's this person whom i know since my early teens, and i enjoy my friendship with him. And he enjoyed it as well, or so i thought. I would be there for him in happiness or pain, and would treat him to movies etc if i had the time, just to strengthen our friendship...Something that wasnt really there.
I never thought anything bad about him, nor i would go and stab his back if things happen. And my ignorance took its toll this past years.He failed to do what friends usually do. I never seen him there when i needed someone to talk with. He never even sent me birthday messages, heck, he didnt even remember my birthday without the expense of someone telling him! Whereas i knew almost everything about him. In short, i have been ignorant of the fact he never thought of me a friend.
The worst thing is that once, i had been admitted to the hospital for an operation. He knew about it and yet i see him not in my ward, nor his message in my phone. Yet when another friend was admitted because he tried to kill himself, he came and visited him. That's when i knew i never had been a friend to him, despite my efforts.

I thought I had a true friend, but when when I really needed them this past week, excuses for disappearing became my support. Oh, I am sure to hear from her again when she needs me. A real true friend is really hard to find, hold on tight when you do.
