Actually I would say there is a difference between "order your bride" websites and "dating" websites. On "order your bride" sites the women literally put themselves on the market to be "sold" to whatever guy is willing to pay for her visa, ticket, etc... Whereas a "dating" site you simply just make friends, then maybe meet later on if you hit it off. If there are women on the sites looking for men to get them out of their country than they are on the wrong site
BTW...I always wondered why women do that. I started a topic about this very topic! Russian and Asian women are very pretty...the real question is, what's wrong with Russian and Asian men??? Really tell me coz I dont know! Any Russian or Asian men wanna enlighten me on this please??!!

why not. and whats the harm. you can never know where and when you can find your true partner. and if you are ashamed to introduce your future wife as having finding her online then maybe you should not marry her.

the harm my friend is simply that these girls can try to escape the men in their country but in turn meet up with a man from another country that maybe the same or worse. the internet can hide anyone's true character and status. once in person it all comes out and at that time it may be too late!

AcOr.It cuts both ways,it's a variation on scam..Fsu girl meets israeli man on internet,love blah blah..Israeli arranges entry visa ,sends ticket..Girl does not cash in ticket but simply comes on earlier flight and dissappears into the israeli scene..Enough guys got burned as to cause the immigration authority to change the rules..Now,fsu issues EXIT visa,but israeli entry visa only on production of israeli marriage certificate and similtaneous joint appearance before the immigration authority..
I really believe the russian authorities are sympathetic towards genuine girls,they work unceaseingly to track,identify and prosecute scammers..there is a russian english language where you can scan mugshots of convicted scammers.the authorities are trying to help genuine serious girls..When the gates opened eligible men left in droves,leaving an awful lot of girls high and dry.Like immediately following both world wars:for example,every unmarried soldier who fell,irrespective of side often created a major gender imbalance...
