Stop Staring!
I'm not asking this question to be rude or snubbish or anything like that...but I used to live in India for 13 months (Bangalore to be exact). While I was there I noticed that people stared at me all the time. Everyone did it, men, women and kids! At first I ignored it but as time went on it got very annoying (and also bad manners). I'm mixed race...I'm latin and they seemed to just find that so amazing (like they've never seen a person of a different race before).
So here's my question, why do Indians stare at people who look different from them? I dont mean just a quick look and then turn away...I mean a long in-depth look.

hei, its not only indian. Its very normal in northern finland too 
I feel sometime like an angel when some finns stare at me

you need to special order a t-shirt that says "keep it in your pants. I'm 12, stop eyeballing me" or "i'm here with my mother, stop gawking" then mirror translate it into a few precise languages. good luck
hi am indian and i guess that just the way we are. just becoz you were a foreigner here you felt that such deep stares have been reserved for you only but then that is not the case. we even deep stare at indians. why i dont know. but we do it. maybe trying to read their mind or whatever. We are a very 'I am part of your life' kinda people and hence dont take it amiss to stare at people.
LOL! everytime i asked my indian friend why everyone was staring he would look around and say, "staring?, no one is staring at you. what are you talking about?" i guess he was in denial

hehe...nice observation... i guess most indians r fascinated with people of foreign origin....
or they just wanted to knw u more..lolz... sorry dont knw the xact reason
