starts at about 5 €, a minimum wage of 7.50€ is discussed. Qualified persons have about 20 €, management is from 50000 pa (lower level) to 100000 (high level). Shop assistant 1000 pm, nurse 1400 - 2500, doctors employed about 3000 - 6000 pm, craftsmen about 2500 pm, engeniers about 3500 - 5000 (depending on branch), teachers 2500 - 4000 (depends on schoollevel and age), professors 3500 to 5500 pm, policemen 2000, ministers 12000 pm, chancellor 25000 pm
Wages usually depend on experience and age and time that you work for the company.

Yes, I would say Snoopy is about right, maybe 10% too low (but that also depends on the area one lives in in Germany).
However, it is very misleading to ask for what the netto wage is.
On one hand there are a lot of deductions, taxes, health insurance, pension insurance and the lot.
So from monthly earnings of, lets say, 4500€ you have around 2500 to 2600€ that will be left over. And, of course, it depends on how high the costs of living are and they are now low in Germany, not at all.
I would say, for example, in the US or in England people might have more from their wages than in Germany.
