Memorable pet(s)
I believe some of us might lived with pets for some period of time, me myself have had pets since i was 6. The first pet i had was a street cat with curly tail named Tega (pronounced like tiger without the r, and a play of the word tiga, malay for 3, because she had three colours). From then we raised about 30 cats, 3 rabbits, multitude of chickens, a pair of doves and about 7 hamsters in the course of 15 years.
Thank goodness we had a large enough backyard.
Among the 30 cats we raised, there were some individuals that are unique from the rest of the packs - first there was Mais (Siam spelled backwards) a loyal male Siamese cat who never went away from home and very affectionate, Juling (cross-eyed in malay) a rare, cross eyed blue pointed Siamese that sadly died fighting stray dogs, Luncai, a nervous female Singapura cat who went wild whenever a stranger came into our home, Charm, a pure white Turkish Van who had yellow and blue eyes and climbs people's shoulders, Salem, a black cat that looked evil because of his skull shape, Cloud, a tabby that survived many accidents and...Well, there's too many to mention but these are my favorites and always be remembered.
I'm sure if you have raised so many pets in a long period of time, you're bound to find those who are unique. So tell me about it!

I had a dachshund for 12 years. He was a real character. One who is loved has got many names (I can't translate them) and he had lots of.
He came to us from absolutly uncaring people who had several small children and the dog was alway a nuisance. So they gave hin away. It took us half a year to have him stop peeing into the livingroom and giving up gnawing his fur. But later he became a real funny pet. He was very strict upon his teritory (our garden). He bit every stranger who dared to enter regardless how big and strong he seemed. So nearly all our neighbours felt his teeth.
He was disloyal. Some huntig dogs retrieve game to their masters. He never would share something edable with me. When he was old and sick, he was allowed to sleep in my bed. This was obiously his lifes aim. He was waiting for that for years. When he died he was 14 and a half years old. I felt him struggle beside me and vomiting. So I seized him and carried (he was to weak to walk already) to the bathroom to clean his snout. While I did this, his body shivered and got slack. So he died in my arms. I still cry when I remember this moment. We buried him in the garden and there a gravestone still reminds us of him.
A pet from my past I particularly remember was a cat called Sadie. Shje was a rescue cat and was quite old when we got her. She had many allergies and eventually one got so bad that she would be sneezing up blood all the time. The vet could do nothing because the nasal passages of a cat are too small to work on (apparently). We eventually had to have her put down.
But she was the first cat we ever had, and I loved her with all my heart. She was gentle, loving and playful when she was well.

I loved the gype, he wis fearless an we got on fine, he protected me when things got risky an I could order him aroun an no get attacked, even his owner had problems Odin respected no one, they were well matched both psychos.
RIP big lad you'lll no be replaced.
I had a cute little rabbit, called "Tineke".
I got her from when I was 11. she was the cutest little brown thing with dark ears and stuff. When i used to do i home work she would sleep on my lap till i was done.
Then we would play.
My rabbit would have been a very good dog. She would come when i said 'kom', or she wouldn't o smething when i said 'nee, mag niet'.
I trained her to walk on a leash with me, when i said 'over' she would cross the street.
When i said 'kiss' she would like my nose
soooow cute
Oh and i also took her out for bycicle rides,in a little basket on my steer. she loved that. she came shopping ith me etc.. and because i live in a small village people would know me and my bunny ![]()
She would actually morn when i went on holiday.. ![]()
Oh and she did some funny tricks too! she could jump over your hands.. and she liked to sleep with me in my bed ![]()
the last trick i learned her was to walk on a ball..
But then, the horror, i was in the hospital and my brother had tineke in the house... and he accidentally stepped on her. She stayed alive till I was back and died in my arms :'(
I still miss that fluffy little creature.
The next rabbit i got, was named "Jasper" he was a boy and he could do the same things as Tineke except .. I thought him to bite my brother
... revenge! muahaha!

Every blade of grass has its angel that bends over it and whispers, 'Grow, grow.'
I remember my cat called Micė in particular. I saw her in the yard and brought home. My parents first minded having her but in some time they agreed and Micė became the member of our family. She was a wild cat so liked going out a lot. One day my dad told me Micė went out and was killed by a dog - some teens made the dog attack her on purpose. It was the most terrible moment and loss at that time for me
many years passed but i will always remember the black cat Micė
It is so sad some people are real murderers and kill animals
That was very sad, mindless cruelty!! On the otherhand my mongoose has 2 kittens, brand brand new.The father??Kaiste, ever heard the expression ships that pass in the night?well he's long gone..they are small and helpless at the moment so i don't try to touch them she gets very nervous..Each second day i give her a supplement of one kilo ground chicken and they are doing fine..they are not caged ,it's illegal..They are soooo beautiful...

We've had cats my whole life long. Mostly street cats who decided to stay with us. The one that stayed the longest when I was around the age of 10-13 was was Roetsjie. A horrible looking creature but oh so sweet
. She died of cancer
. She must have been already quite old when she decided to move in. nowadays we have our female black cat Kahlo (after the mexican painter) and she creates kittens from time to time
. She's stupid though
;
Oh and i've heard from Jen that deng has a crazy cat that hides behind curtains and attacks people *giggle*
