I'm very sorry for how you're feeling right now but can I ask, in over 2 years since you've known each other did you actually meet in person? If not the best advice I can only give to you is to do whatever it takes to get those 2 years of your life back. The whole world is NOT against you. Spend some time AWAY from the net and rediscover yourself. Learn to love yourself first.

it's very easy to fall in love with someone that you kept contact with for many years. people who have not been in that situation will just say "forget about her" but you dont have to, and you probably never will. you will remember the ones you love. and when you look back on the time you have spent talking or chating etc. it might be painfull but thats a part of life too and as they say " love hurts". just think positive and focus on the good parts, the happines and lovely moments that you shared. that will bring a smile on your face again! I think with the internet its easy to form some kinda relationships whether they be friendship or developing into some kinda love feelings ... its becos its easier online to be more open with your tghts at times and you sit there typing away and telling people more about whats going on in your life and in some ways u can have more in-depth conversations. But saying that not everyone is who they appear to be online and the most close relationships formed via online can be full of lies and not quite truths.
