Have you ever hit and killed an animal on the road? I ran over a squirrel once.. Sad , a few bugs on the windshield, and dodged a few deer, but nothing major.

My parents had hit a Blue Heron, (endangered species), I often think of the chicks left behind when a parent dies.

Maybe the pike was curious, stuck its head above the water, and he ran over it with his boat.
It's possible....

I hit a cat once, but I don't think I killed it. When I looked back it was gone.

I hit a large hare once, it broke a piece of plastic at the front of the car, I got pissed and hit it an additional four times for being stupid, it definitely died.

Last night, I was driving on the highway and I had to stop for this stupid turkey that couldn't decide with side of the road it wanted to be on...they really do have small brains.. If I used mine, I could have had a bumper special for dinner tonight... Razz
