Contribution to scientific research

Would you like to contribute to research on differences in behaviour? Imagine you wear a t-shirt or jumper and you want to pull it off. How do you do that? The theory is, that females cross their arms, the right hand seizes the shirt at the left shoulder (or a little bit below) and the left hand vice versa. Then they pull the shirt over the head. Male persons seize the shirt with the right hand at the right shoulder vice versa and do not cross the arms.
Would you please post whether the theory is A) right, B) wrong or C) something else (please point out). It is useful to give your age, sex and country as well.
Thanks
Smile You see to be a scientist is sometimes hard today. You can imagine how many t-shirts I had to watch being pulled off! And the views you have to stand! But a scientist has no other feeling than finding out the truth! Smile
The question is, why do boys/men it different (if the theory is true) although they obviously learned it by a female person – their mother.

Your theory is consistent with my experience, so I think you're right.

Would be nice to have an explanation for this phenomena... Smile

When you cross your arms and pull it off slowly, you don't mess up your hair or make-up that much. Most men them just want off quickly and don't bother with such particulars. Although I have seen men and boys cross their arms from time to time. Smile
Quite an interesting experiment.
I am 106, but to get older on Saturday, female and don't wear tee-shirts as it musses up my hair.. Very happy

Seems to be a good explanation. But let's see if the theory is OK. Maybe people from other countris behave differnt.

C ........ Razz

I first pull out my left sleeve and pull my arm to the inside of the sweater and then i pull the other right arm to the inside; having both my arms inside the sweater and just the sweater around my neck and then I'll push it over my head.

One more thing, from a Canadian mother's prospective. I had a girl and boy and when undressing them from their t-shirts, I always had them lift their hands and pulled up the shirt from their waist over their heads. How they decided to remove it when they were capable, was totally up to them. Could possibly the answer be, anyway that is easiest for you?

The theory is right, at least for this dutch male.

Originally i would simply reach over my shoulder and pull it off.My mother taught me to cross arms..With a sweater i pull it over my head then slip each arm out to prevent it from turning inside out.

That is also the way I do it, well except I pull out my right arm first. Actually I'm surprised this method is not a part of the theory, I thought it was a quite common way to do it. Guess I'll have to observe people around here more closely now to see how they do it.
