In an absolute atheistic society, how would that society develop rules when everyone believes they are the highest being in the universe?
What reason would they have to listen?

Do atheists believe themselves to the the highest being in the universe we know about? (see earlier topic)

@pietro... the horse, the donkey and the mule, correct, that doesn't work. But that's two different breeds you cross. Two mutants of the same breed, that's a different thing.

I think that a totally atheistic society would eventually branch off and form groups believing in different specific ideals of their understanding. Just as in any society, religious or non-religious. We as humans and animals love to become formed groups and be accepted. Here will also cause conflict and differences. In any specific society there is always disccention among the members making our own rules...it's just a part of life.
