Heard "Comfortably Numb" for the first time some 12 years ago. In fact, I heard it about 50 times on that same evening. It was at a guy's stag night and they kept playing it on and on and on... Not only was this guy about to marry, but his girl was already pregnant.
Through the song they were telling him that his life was over...

Last monday I heard this Canadian band THE PAPERBOYS, from
Vancouver.
They play Mexicana, Trad Irish, an Bluegrass.
Cancel whitever is goin on in your life an go an see this lot,
they are jis stottin, I wis dancin wae the dug, an it only took twaa ..2 pints.
Black Sabbath all of their music was incredible to me, back in my younger and sillier days, partying with my friends and driving around in the back of their van!
Uriah Heap wasn't bad either!!
