Because there are many artists and movies worth mentioning and therefore many topics,
we have created some guidelines for topics in order to keep the channel organised.
This is also to prevent the channel turning into a list of 'postfarming' topics without any actual content.

1) Topics on artists/events

If you want to post a topic on a certain artist or event a topic looking like this:
Title: Metallica
content: Who knows this cool band?

will not suffice. Add at least some weblinks to the subject.
Here you can find how to add links to your topic.
For music you could use last.fm or allmusic.

For films Internet movie databa is a good one.

Secondly a youtube link is always good to give an example. This makes even the most obscure bands or films more accessible to others.

If your topic is not according to these guidelines it's likely to get locked or deleted.

2) Game topics/title topics

There are at the time of writing quite a few topics like the Songtitle-topics, what are you listening to-topics etc. To prevent the channel of turning into one where you just farm posts your topic might get locked with a short explanation.
Also this prevents the first page of the forum being filled up with these topics and making different ones less accessible.

3) Question/request topics

Google doesn't solve everything of course. If there is something you'd like to know be clear and elaborate. After the question has been properly answered the topic will be locked.

These guidelines are not to make the channel less fun, but to improve its quality and make it more accessible.Please post according to this, and you might even see your replies increase. Thank you for your understanding.
