I'm afraid of another disappointment. St. Anger was he biggest fuck you to us fans I could ever imagine. I kinda...stopped listening to them actually because of it.

did you watch the documentary some kind of monster??

and for fucks sake did you check the videos on that site??

it's so popular to bash metallica nowadays..yeah they died when cliff gone, blah blah...

st.anger was something else than being an album, you should watch some kind of monster to undertand what fucking process they went through that time.. it's still goood that they did not break apart then.

and in the last 3 years, they are simply improving their bad condition...you will see..

I liked Load... I even liked Reload..Hell, I even put up with Garage inc. and S&M.

But St. Anger is not the kind of metal I like. Sorry that im no worshipper of the band but someone who likes music. Yeah they had a hard time, but should I buy St. Anger because I feel sorry for them drinking to much? It doesnt make them special nor better and stillt he album sucked. I'm glad you like St.Anger, though it put me off. Same goes for the tour, which I actually went to see.

Normally when a band tours for a new album, they play that album live. They played 2 songs on the shows I saw. I really dont see the relevance between the hard time getting of the boozer and judging the quality of the album.

I liked the sound of metallica that made metallica, not that sound that makes them sound like any other thrash/nu I dont know what to call the hybrid St. Anger was... I sincerely hope they got their shit together and give their fans the idea they are not the next rolling stones.

No, you dont have to agree with me. I just didnt get your reaction... For me its about the music not the proces. Even if they recorded it on the southpole while dressed as chickens for the benefit of Aids..if it sounds like St.Anger, keep it away from me.

Who cares about metallica, its a band who should have quit after Cliff Burton died, "some kind of monster" just proves what a joke that band is. Sleepin'

I know it's popular to bash Metallica these days, but i disliked them years ago so at least i'm not just jumping on a bandwagon of hate. Very happy Nah, if i hear any of the new stuff by chance and i like it, that's cool and i don't care who it's by, but i don't think the chances are high. I might check the link later on but i don't know.

I honestly think the video's are totally irrelevant for my opinion...

absolutely Right! ...justice for all was still a very good album,to

"some kinf of monster" was funny and embarrasing to watch at the same time.didt know if the tears in m eyes were from laughing orr crying about those miserable rockstars.if a band needs a psychotherapist in order to make a new record and even feels the need to release that crap on DVD,its the clearest evidence that they're totally past their peak and should quit.

so so good, I think the tracks are good but the production is terrible, way too polished and no bass

bad production,no bass & cheap drumsound ... that's actually really true!
I guess ,maybe it was kind of trendy to have such a metal-sound back at that time then Very happy
today's metal productions (or recording in general) have total different approach & possibilities (for good AND bad,I think...a lot of stuff sounds very clean, too perfect and less organic)

on the other hand, many great records had terrible sound/production.what counts in the end is atmosphere, feeling & the songwriting itself.
