If you believe in The Rapture
If you believe in the Rapture, (which I do) what would your biggest worry be? My only work would be the people that I knew that were left behind. (I don't mean the movie or book, mind you, both were good)

If the belief in the Rapture causes you to worry about anything then you need to look more closely at your belief. If you really know and experience God from the deepest part of your heart then this should ONLY give you peace, joy, bliss.
You should have a sense of completeness and perfectness. This means that you know that everything in existence is perfect and for everyone. Nobody is ever going to be left behind because everyone is a part of God or existence. Nobody is ever going to be punished in some hellfire for eternity because no amount of mistake that man has made in life justifies the punishment. Also, how can God punish a part of Himself? How can she destroy something that is hers? It would mean God destroying himself. How can God punish her own creation and that too for eternity? Is God that sadistic?
Is it not more wonderful and superior if God will "rapture" everybody no matter what he has said done or experienced during his short time on earth? Would it not be more fantastic if every man becomes united with God and feel the rapture of joy, love and fulfillment?

I am sorry One, I cannot agree with you. That is not what I was taught. There is only one way to the Father and that is through His Son Jesus Christ. And yes I also believe that there will be people left behind, those who don't believe. Truly, it would be great if the Lord returned right now! I am looking forward to that time, because that is what I believe One. I am not asking you to believe. That is why I posted this topic here, because I wanted to know what FELLOW BELIEVERS thought about my topic and question.

If you are wanting to know what your fellow believers thought then you won't get anything new. It will the same input. You will just convince yourself and it won't challenge your thinking. You will feel at ease and safe knowing that nobody from the fellow believers can challenge what you say or have anything really new to share.
For a moment, forget what you have been taught. Let us say that you could request God to allow you to bring any or all of your loved ones or if you are a very compassionate person you can request God to even allow your enemies because you forgive them and want them to have a better deal, would you not do it? Would it not be more pleasing for you if everyone you loved joined you and all of you were enjoying God's love and grace?
Is it not the ego-trip that causes a person to be holier-than-thou (I believe so I am saved, this foolish sinner does not believe so he will be left behind to suffer....hahaha, good for him, he deserves it!!!!)?
I am not telling you to believe what I say. I do not believe in beliefs. All I ask is that you open your mind a little bit and try to think out of the box. Whatever you feel is right after that is all upto you.

on this, I must respectfully disagree. I too am curious what my fellow believers have to say about this topic simply because every believer is NOT going to give the same input. The book of Revelations is complex to say the least. Hearing what some of my fellow Christians have taken from studying it would be a wonderful way to look at it from its many angles (with a cautious eye, of course. We wouldn't want to believe something just because a Christian said it...that could lead to some false interpretations).

Pray tell me, if you will not believe your fellow Christians then who will you believe? How can a christian give a false interpretation unless it is from his mind? How else do people interpret scriptures if not with their mind? This has always lead to divisions and split-ups. How come there is only one bible but there are hundreds of different dinominations? Why can't your God just give everyone the same interpretation so that there will be unity amongst christians?
There is no unity amongst christians, each one will say his interpretation or the interpretation of his church or denomination is true. Why no unity amongst believers of Jesus?
If you really really know the truth based on your own understanding and experiences of life there will never be a problem The problem arises becauses of the belief system. Belief system are always different and cause strife and even wars. Is it not true that it is always one belief against another that is the problem?

One: I won't get into this too heavy becasuse as I stated earlier this topic is IF YOU BELIEVE IN THE RAPTURE, It is Not that we don't believe or mistrust a fellow Christian, however there are Young Christians who may have only just converted and therefore really don't have a great understanding of the bible and they interpet what they can out of that scripture, then there is the mature Christian who has been a Christian for many many years, they on the other hand have a better understanding of the bible. I have been a Christian for 8 years now and I'm still no where close to being a mature Christian. This is how there are different perceptions of the Bible. Also, when reading scripture, it may be what the Lord wants us to see.
I would prefer to read and write to other Christians on this topic please!
